Vieille maison de pierre, à courte distance du centre, froide au printemps mais par ailleurs agréable.

In spit of very mixed weather we enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. Our hosts gave us a useful
8.0I liked the size of the accommodation. Very spacious. Useful having a w.c.near to the kitchen. Location was fine, within walking distance of shopping facilities yet had a rural aspect. As we had a wet weather week we were glad of the washing machine and drier. Good access for the car. Log burning open fire welcome after a cold wet day..
− Bathroom shower over the bath upstairs had poor pressure. Not a great deal better in the downstairs main bedroom.Hot water tap on the sink in upstairs bathroom was loose. Loose toilet seat upstairs as did the w.c.in the utility room. Some of tge knives in the cutlery drawer looked burnt and we couldn’t remove those marks.

Relaxing if you can afford the expense
3.0Not a lot. We stayed as 2 people in a 6 berth house. If we had 6 people as catered for there would not have been enough water. Tiny hot water cylinder. Insufficient. Very cold house even with heating on. Was like a fridge when we arrived. Toilet cistern took an age to refill.
− Charged extra for fuel. Which was exorbitant. Nearly 100€ for electric and gas for less than 1 week. Had to buy logs for the open fire another 30€ on top of the high rental rate. Should be called the Stone Cold Cottage

A refundable security deposit of EUR 200 must be paid upon checkin. This will be preauthorised on your debit or credit card upon arrival and automatically released off your card after departure, subject to an inspection of the property. Payment by debit cards will charge the security deposit of EUR 200 to your bank account which is manually refunded by the property within 7 days of departure. This will be after the onsite manager has inspected the property and is satisfied that the terms and conditions of rental have been complied with. Please note that failure to leave the accommodations in a clean and tidy condition may result in the loss of all or part of your security deposit.
