Loved the place
10.0Everything is new, clean and in good shape. The room looks nice and cozy. Beds are comfortable. A refrigerator is so welcome in this climate (and isn't easy to find places with one). AC works well. Bathroom is clean and gas good water pressure. The hosts are very hospitable and even left is coconuts in the fridge which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again if I go to Tela in the future.

8.0We stayed inside this family's big, gated, and safe complex. Their yellow home was in front and our small apartment was in the back, along with an outdoor kitchen and dining area, and a nice swimming pool. The mother of the main host guy was super kind to us, as well as generous and helpful! She took care of us and showed us the good spots in Tela to find food, drinks, and groceries. She was also very helpful with figuring out the Bus system for our departure from Tela.
− We didn't like a couple of things. Estancia Florencia is not on Google Maps, and it's on the outskirts of Tela (but still an easy walk to the beach), so it was hard to tell the Taxi driver where to drop us off with our bags. I guessed, and the main host guy was not very helpful in explaining where to find the property. There is nothing on Booking.com that specifies what type of payment is required, so I assumed that they would take Credit Card, as most nice places do... but when we finally found the property, the main host guy asked us to pay entirely in cash immediately upon arrival. We had to give him all the cash we had just withdrawn for our daytime activities, and then go take out more to complete the payment. 👎
