Peaceful stay in a great location to town.
9.0Small cottage but perfect for one person or a couple. It had everything I needed for the night and good location right off the Spur Rd.
− Tight parking for a large truck but we Austin Powers our way out.

9.0Very nice small cottage, perfect for our one-night stay near Talkeetna when the rainy weather caused our flightseeing tour to be cancelled (we got to fly the next day instead). Access (with a code) was easy, facilities worked very well for myself and my husband, and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and a few basics to make it easy to prepare simple food and make coffee and tea. Comfy sofa, nice bed, good shower.
− A downside: the wall between the kitchen/living room and the bedroom does not go all the way to the (high) ceiling, so there is not much of a noise barrier between the rooms. (The bathroom does have complete walls.) This reduces the benefit of a cottage vs. a hotel room, if you or your travel partner are awake while the other sleeps. It still worked for us, but it would have been better to know this when booking.
