A very good value apartment run by a very welcoming family

My daughter and I had a very pleasant week at the apartment. Hüseyin's communications were excellent and he made us very welcome, arranging transfers to and from the airport and ensuring we had everything we needed through the stay. The apartment was a very good size for two of us, and had pretty much everything we needed. The pool was excellent and very welcome in the heat, as were the trees and shade in the garden. Overall, good value for money.

− The air conditioning in one bedroom didn't appear to work - I forgot to mention it to Hüseyin at the time because there was also a very good fan which did the job just as well (hopefully the next visitor has mentioned it so it can be fixed - unless it was simply me not understanding the system!) The a/c in the other bedroom was great. The spiral staircase to the upper floor was a little precarious, and perhaps not for someone with mobility issues (or after one cocktail too many!). The apartment was a little further from the centre of town than ideal in the heat - but the distance was clear from the details, so not unexpected. It also meant it was very close to the Saturday market, which was a bonus!

The host was very nice, he couldn't do enough for us. The property was very quiet as we were one of only two bookings there. As we love birds it was great to see a storks nest close by. Nicely positioned balconies and great views.

− The apartment and the whole complex is totally run down. I know it is early in the season but if you are expecting guests you need to at least clean and tidy up the outside areas . The fixtures and fittings in the apartment were old and shabby with taps almost hanging off their fixings and a grill that tripped the fuse whenever we tried to use it. The toilet flush was also loose. The ceiling in the second bedroom bulged and leaked with large water stains on the ceiling,. The bedding didn't fit the main bed (double covers on queen bed) and there were no blackouts curtains on eithe bedroom windows. Both balconies were dirty with the door to one almost hanging off its hinges. No cleaning supplies provided.

L'emplacement, bon point de départ pour visiter Dalyan, Marmaris, pas très loin de l'aéroport de Dalaman ( avec voiture de location). Entendre l'appel du Muezzin (mosquée voisine à 1min à pied) plusieurs fois par jours en étant entouré de végétation et de montagne! Propriétaire accueillant et aimable.

− Il nous fallait deux lits pour nos deux enfants en bas âge, on nous dit d'attendrele lendemain car c'est diimanche, la nuit a été catastrophique et le lendemain et surlendemain plus aucune suite n'a été donné à notre demande et nos enfants n'ont pas l'habitude de dormir dans 1 même lit et sont trop jeunes pour dormir sur un lit d'une personne. Du coup les nuits étaient compliqué ça a rendue notre séjour désagréable

Mr. HUSSAIN has been a great host. Always happy and ready to help any time. Nice breakfast, Clean Apartment and swimming pool. Children already missing this place. If I go back to Dalyan it will definitely be at Summer life.
