Location

− We didn’t sleep at all last night. What is happening here has already gone far beyond what can be tolerated. Until now, we tried to remain calm and understanding, even though: 1. We had to wait in front of the property and were unable to check in, even though it was well past the official check-in time. 2. When someone finally arrived, we expected to enter, but it turned out to be only the cleaning staff, who told us the house had not been cleaned and they weren’t even aware of our check-in. Although we were exhausted after traveling, we had to wait outside until they rushed through the cleaning, which was very questionable in quality. 3. The following morning, we had to let a plumber into the house because the shower in one of the bathrooms was not working. Despite all these issues and others that I didn’t mention, we tried not to let this ruin our vacation. However, last night was simply unacceptable. As every night since we ve been here, we heard strange noises, turned on the lights, and to our shock, we saw mice — one running in the attic and another on the ground floor.

Preis/Leistung stimmt für uns nicht, auch wenn Pool sehr schön und gross ist.

Der Poolbereich war schön und die Liegen bequem. Die Betten waren gut und die Klimaanlage ein grosser Pluspunkt. Oliven-, Zitronen- und Limettenbäume im Garten. Es war innen sauber geputzt.

− Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen und man könnte viel mehr aus dem Haus machen. Fenster im Erdgeschoss alle beschlagen/milchig. Der Aussenessplatz lädt nicht zur Nutzung ein (sehr dunkel). Die Küche und das Erdgeschoss waren sehr voll gestellt (Deko, Küchengeräte u.a. defekte Kaffeemaschine) und es hatte nachts Mäuse - Tipp: Alles Essen (va Brot/Toast) hochstellen und gut verschliessen, alle Stühle weg vom Esstisch, alle Taschen in die oberen Etagen (Meldung wurde von uns gemacht). Der Teekocher mussten wir vor der 1. Anwendung entkalken (extrem verkalkt). Der Wasserdruck schwankte sehr, alle Duschbrausen war stark verkalkt. Obere Dusche wurde aufgrund der Verkalkung und der sehr niedrigen Deckenhöhe nicht benützt. Bei allen Wasserhahnen fehlte das Sieb, wahrscheinlich aufgrund des hohen Kalkgehaltes. Die Hecken/Sträucher rund um die Zugänge zum Parkplatz, der Waschküche (nicht benutzt) und der zusätzlichen PoolGarderobe/-WC (nicht benutzt) müssten stark geschnitten werden, die Gehwege waren sehr eng. Hecke für die Aussicht aus dem Pool müsste auch geschnitten werden; keine Aussicht, wenn man im InfinityPool ist. 4 defekte Luftmatratzen wurden von uns aus dem Pool entfernt und entsorgt. Preis-/Leistung aufgrund dieser Punkten nicht passend.

Ligging, het uitzicht, gezellig huis, meer dan voldoende servies en bestek etc. mooi zwembad met ligbedden met heerlijke kussens en grote handdoeken, gewoon luxe.

− We had several issues with this accommodation that we think should be reported. We went with a 9 month old, which they were aware of. The facilities listed a high chair and we had confirmation for a cot for a 0 year old after requesting it. There was no cot or high chair in the property and instead they set up a single bed next to a staircase. We had to buy our own sleeping solution and make do without a chair. The hot water didn’t work on arrival and we had no response when we messaged the owners. We had to find the boiler ourselves and reset it because it had an error code. Electrics were also unreliable. Many plug sockets were damaged or would not work. Many things in the kitchen were dirty and the bins from the previous visitors were left behind. On our last day a huge tree fell in the garden, crushing power lines and deck chairs. We were left with no power or water so the owners had to put us up in a hotel. This was dealt with well by the owners, but the trees are very old and there is a chance it could happen again. It is a lovely villa, but is not described correctly.

A wonderful house, sensational view and magnificent garden with pool. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. A true Tuscan villa which is extremely comfortable and very well equipped.

The location was superb as was the pool area and garden, probably one of the best pools we have ever had at a villa. The house was very clean. There was a great selection of glassware and cutlery which were high quality and good sized fridge and high quality appliances. The owners and the managers of the property were very accommodating.

− Some minor problems with the electrics and plumbing but was rectified and fine from there on.
