Good place to sleep but not very welcomming or friendly
3.0Accommodation was very clean and of a high standard and could not be faulted apart from the patchy wifi. The kitchen, bathroom, living and sleeping areas were all of a high standard with good quality linen & towels.
− The accommodation had no views outside. One side window faced a wall and another faced a small yard which contained 6-8 large gas tanks and a shipping container which seem to operate as a laundry. Both of these side windows had blinds to screen these views but once you opened the blinds the views were not great. The glass in the front door was frosted so there was no external views within the property at all. Once outside the only door you were faced with 3 shipping containers. The owner or site on staff did not communicate or acknowledge us at all apart from giving us the key even though they were constantly passing us by going to the adjacent laundry or the stables next door. There were about 6 very friendly dogs on site who appeared at your door as soon as you opened it which was a bit frustrating when we wanted to sit down outside to eat & chat as they were literally on your knee looking for food and one of them was a very large dog whose head was table high so we retreated inside to eat rather than shoo the dogs away constantly. There was also a log of dog poos all around the place so definitely recommend gates to the accommodation area to enable guests to better manage the 6 dogs. The place is a good place to sleep/ eat if you need a bed locally but in our opinion not much else and we did not feel relaxed or welcome by anyone at any stage who we meet on site apart from the dogs!
