Blue Moon House Praiano

We are right in between both amalfi and praiano and took the bus to both which was great!

Maria was an excellent host and was able to accommodate with anything we needed! The house has a phenomenal view and is very comfortable with ac and a nice open layout. We had a great stay and would come back!

This place is amazing! So peaceful and beautiful. Blue moon is like staying in a painting. The views of the water, sitting on the balcony, watching the sun set out the kitchen window. I’m so glad we stayed in Priano and not Positano. It’s magical here. There are steps to get to the unit so I do recommend getting the Porter for your luggage, the host will organize. Maria, the host was lovely, so helpful with transportation, touring, recommendations. Dinner at La Moressa was one of the best Meals I’ve ever had, gym tonic had delicious coffee, there’s a town park with great views and it’s an easy walk to the beach.- It was windy the day we went, but we had a delicious snack and spritz on the water.

The house is new or newly renovated, perched on a cliff with a view of the vast sea and town below. It is what beautiful imaginations are made of 😊 We enjoyed the space, facilities and most of all, the lounge / terrace where we enjoyed relaxing breakfasts. And oh! I love the garden. It has lantana camara and carnations (my favourite flowers), among many others. Herbs and veggies too. Maria is an amazing hostess who, along with her sister, put their heart and soul into every detail of the house. She also has an extensive list of helpful information around the Amalfi Coast. There is a bus stop to Positano 164 steep steps/stairs below, which, once you get used to it, is very convenient. There are a couple of mini markets few meters after the bus stop. If you are looking for an authentic feel of the region, yet not far from the main touristic areas, this is a perfect place to stay and have your own space (and view! 😍). Praiano is between Positano and Amalfi.

− This is not what I like, rather my lack of stamina to climb all those stairs. If you are driving, the address given is not helpful as you can't park there. But Maria will solve that all for you as she did for us. You just have to walk an additional 100 steps/stairs 😁 Look at it positively - it's a great way to stay fit!

Perfect little home, with an exceptional HOST!

I LOVED everything about this place. It has its own charm, and is such a spacious place for a one bedroom home. It includes a pull out couch if need be. There is a washing machine and full kitchen. You get the whole front "foyer" to yourself. Maria is an exceptional host and she is willing to help you anyway she can. Her friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond for her tenants does not go unnoticed. I cant wait to come back and stay here again!

− Everything was perfect. Like everywhere else in amalfi, the stairs become an issue after climbing them day after day.

Not enough space in this text box to describe how much I loved Blue Moon. I felt right at home here. Amazing views, perfect space, great location (my legs haven't looked this good since high school - there are some stairs to get here! But nothing that should deter ANYONE from staying here!). In fact, we loved Blue Moon so much that we extended our stay! I will be back to this property.
