Ok for a short stay
6.0warm rooms during winter. owner was nice - i checked out earlier than planned and they didn’t charge me for the full stay. day trips with staff are generally ok. most of the staff are nice, especially the kitchen staff. If you are extremely adventurous, find one specific kitchen staff and ask him about his night jungle expeditions - apparently he can bring you to see tigers, leopards, wild boars etc
− the resort is on a mountaintop so you will likely need the staff’s help to go out and explore. service staff are aggressive in getting you to book day trips with them. while the hotel doesn’t charge for the trips, the staff are actively expecting tips. there was an older staff, a 40s to 50s male who is extremely intrusive towards international tourists. He would constantly come into your personal space and try very hard to insert himself in your day trips (to get tips). It was extremely uncomfortable. note to hotel management: please let your staff know that some guests just want peace and quiet during their stay instead of being treated as tip machines by staff.
Wonderful Experience
10.0A "gem" amidsts the mountains. At sunrise, we were lucky enough to see the Himalayas from the roof, as well as from the teracce during the breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious, and some of the vegetables were from the hotel's garden. We enjoyed a wonderful hike all day long with Shankar and saw tiny Nepalese villages, vivid yellow mustard flowers, and orange trees while picking up some oranges. Before sunset, we crossed the river and came to Shiva's Trishul. The staff was very kind and friendly. We felt like at home. The property has a great location and exceeded our expectations! They had warm bathrobes and hot water in a bathroom.

10.0La situation de l’établissement est idyllique. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Nous avons été très surpris de l’établissement, car franchement les photos ne le mettent pas du tout en valeur. de notre séjour au Nepal, c’est franchement la meilleure literie que nous ayons eu. dans la chambre, nous avions une bouilloire et du thé.
− Quand nous étions là, il y avait juste une famille en plus que nous. Ce qui veut dire qu’il y avait trop de personnel par rapport à la capacité de l’hôtel. On se sentait parfois un peu oppressée par leur prévenance. nous sommes venus à pied, un des panneaux étaient mal orientés, et nous nous sommes égarés. il y avait des travaux sur la route.
