Don't Miss this Pearl! Casa Vacansa dei priori is perfect!
10.0SPECTACULAR! BEAUTIFUL! EXCEEDINGLY COMFORTABLE! I cannot think of enough adjectives to describe how wonderful Casa Vacansa dei Priori and our hosts were. The apartment is a pearl. The foundations of the house were built in about 1000 AD, the structure itself was rebuilt around 1400 AD, so it feels like you are living in a well-cared-for museum. There is gorgeous art hanging on the walls, family photos, and other mementos to make you feel perfectly in awe. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and helpful. We even cooked a few dinners together, thrashing through communication with my limited Italian and their work-in-progress English. The flat is smack in the middle of Narni town center, so walking to everything is easy. Be sure to go to the Roca, the Multi-medium museum, and most importantly, the Narni Subterraneum tour. Take my word for it folks. You don't want to miss this one.
