Cozy beach shack in a great location to escape the world for a long weekend
9.0Location is absolutely wonderful. This property is located a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and is also a 2 minute walk to a marina, where you could rent a jet ski or boat, or buy ice/bait for fishing. It is also located close to a boat ramp if you wanted to bring your own boat, and there are two restaurants within a 2 minute walk as well. You could basically never stray from the area if you didn't want to. If you do decide to leave, Venice beaches, restaurants, bars, etc, are a very short drive away. The accomodations were humble, but still cozy and perfect for a single person or couple to relax after a day out on the town. Good water pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. We will definitely be staying at this property again in the future!
− The property manager could have been more communicative. We did not hear from them until the day before our booking and did not receive the door code until we were 30 minutes out from the property. The phone number listed to contact the property manager needs to be updated as the number listed on Booking.com is no longer connected, leading us to almost believe the property no longer existed. However, I will say that once the host made contact with us, they were very responsive when we did have any questions. I just ask that they update their profile online for accuracy and to prevent frustration or anxiety among travelers. Only other recommendation would be to maybe put a ceiling fan in the bedroom, or provide a tower fan, as there is only a wall unit AC, which certainly cools the place off, but the bedroom can get warmer in the summer for some people.
Loved the location. Close to great restaurants and beach. Would stay again.
