We had a very relaxing time staying here - it was quiet and comfortable.
8.0The rooms were lovely - nicely furnished and comfortable. The heaters were left on so it was nice to arrive to a warm room. The host provided good communication and also sent a list of what was happening in Castlemaine while we were there.
− Not necessarily a negative, but having somewhere to hang clothes would be helpful.
Well maintained historic building in good location close to town center.
9.0Property and location were great. Very quiet. Old inside was great, in perfect condition.
− No breakfast. No bikkies. Kitchenette a bit small. Not clear if onsite parking or not. A history of the beautiful building would have been very interesting.

10.0Short walk from Castlemaine city centre and train station, with shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy parking and lovely house and garden. All the necessities and comforts one needs for a weekend away.

Really cute, clean, and great location. Easy to get in and great communication from the the host.

− The little “kitchen” was in the bathroom, wasn’t a fan of that. Mattress was too soft for us, could be suitable for most though.
