We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Kilmore. The peaceful valley views and wide-open horse paddocks created a truly relaxing countryside escape. The swimming pool and hot outdoor spa were fantastic, offering the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the stunning scenery. The property is surrounded by nature, and we loved seeing kangaroos grazing nearby, along with many native birds. The atmosphere was quiet, tranquil, and refreshing, making it an ideal getaway from the city. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Kilmore area.

The location of the house is lovely and remote with no neighbours nearby. An easy 10 min drive into town for supermarkets, bakery, coffee etc. The pool was perfect for our stay as we had some hot days and the surroundings were peaceful. A great spot for a friend's weekend away and we enjoyed the game room with pool table and table tennis. The house is spacious but could do with some updating here and there.

− A few things to note: the carpets are old and stained (being white, not ideal for a guest house). There was animal poo right at the front door. Only two garbage bags for 10 ppl?! We found 2 dead bunnies in the pool and spa which was upsetting. Many leaves in the pool like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The outside umbrellas were part broken/bent. The hot water ran out for some. Better towels needed, some towels looked like bedsheets?! No toiletries despite ad saying they were provided. The one decent knife was blunt and only one remote for all the air conditioning units around the house. Some would randomly blow out hot air when cool was needed. The owners need to note to all guests of the railway line nearby with no signals or gates, quite dangerous and easily missed as it was by each of us who stayed. These are things that if fixed would have made the stay 10/10.

There was enough room for 4 families. The outdoor spa was beautiful and warm on the 2 cold nights that we were there.

− We didnt have enough good quality bath towels. We had a lot of mosquitoes in the house on the first night. We had to buy our own spray and mozzy deterrent. There were no spare garbage bags. We had to buy our own. Toilet paper was minimal. Basics i think should be supplied.

Big and no-one to annoy or bother you

Beautiful house, stunning setting.

− There had been some mistake which, to their credit, they did try to rectify- we had no towels or glasses. However once they were delivered we realised we had no coffee pods or other coffee in the house, no milk, no soap in one bathroom, and no tea towels in the kitchen. Also there was a toiletries bag, and hair everywhere in one of the bathroom drawers in the main bedroom - yuk The garden was a bit overgrown. Quite dissatisfied overall.

− In master bedroom bathroom shower water was not draining . It went all over the bathroom when having shower . Need some maintainence for washrooms .
