An incredible, historic Black Forest house - wonderful for families
9.0The house is beautiful inside and out, and the location is fantastic. You can hike into the forest directly behind the house, and also walk to Freudenstadt town square in 15 minutes. We were two families with kids aged 9y to 6y, and it was perfect for us. The kids loved the paddock behind the house with deer, and they could also walk themselves to the nearby playground (didn’t even need to cross a road) which has incredible slides down the mountain side. The house itself was extremely comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, huge sofa (enough space for two families to lounge), and really comfy bed linen. The host was really helpful, responsive and kind.
− If I had toddlers still, the spiral staircase would have been a bit stressful, but was totally fine for us! (Photo shared). There were two weddings during our stay. While these didn’t bother us at all re: noise, the second wedding did leave broken glass, beer etc outside which was a bit unpleasant with the kids the next morning.

A wonderfull quite place in the heart of the Black Forest
10.0The house is big and has everything you need. In a beautiful and quite location, yet 10 mins walk from the city center. Achim (the staff) was exceptionally responsive and helpful
