Smaakvol ingericht, zeer compleet huis in een rustige buurt

Smaakvol ingericht en ruim huis in een heel rustige buurt vlakbij het stadje La Orotava. Er zijn meerdere plaatsen om buiten te kunnen zitten en je hebt er een mooi uitzicht. De bedden waren erg comfortabel. Keuken is goed ingericht. Er staan wat kruiden, thee, koffie en suiker klaar. In de koelkast stond tevens een fles witte wijn (wij drinken helaas allebei niet). Communicatie met de host ging heel soepel. Ik reisde voor werk en had direct na het uitchecken al een factuur. De berichten uit andere beoordelingen dat de kippen van de buren voor overlast zorgen zijn trouwens fel overdreven. Voor een huis in een ruraal gebied was het er erg rustig.

− De eerste dagen was er in de badkamer een vervelende geur. Wij komen vaak op de Canarische eilanden en dit is in wel meer huizen een probleem. Die geur komt op en verdwijnt na een paar dagen gelukkig ook weer.

Outside space was very good

− The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. Luke warm water on first day and marginally better on second and subsequent days. The kitchen was ok but nothing except salt provided, some basic cooking condiments, oil and herbs would have made a huge difference. Master bedroom good but second single room not attractive.

Maison où se sent bien tout de suite, pièce à vivre spacieuse, véranda avec beaucoup de charme et vue sur la mer depuis le canapé :))

Stefania's place was stunning! The interior decoration was unlike any of the places I've stayed at before. The beds were comfortable and the entire place was very spacious. It's also close to the highway but still remote enough to be peaceful. The views are excellent.

− The neighbours have chickens/roosters which can be loud during the night (from 3am onwards). I'm aware this is something completely outside the host's control, but keep it in mind and bring earplugs. Additionally, we felt like the kitchen was somewhat poorly equipped for a family that cooks once or twice daily (if you don't cook, then it's completely fine). I think some additional food bowls and a baking tray would go a long way. chickens lack of bowls
