Brilliant base for fantastic exploring.

Large, clean, comfortable (the photos are accurate) Great views of Vesuvius out the back and the bay of Naples to the front (it’s on the 7th floor). Perfect location for getting to all the attractions in the area.. Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Sorrento… all via the circumvesuviana 3 mins walk immediately behind the apartment. We also used the other rail route (citta Station about 10 mins walk) to get to Vietri Sul Mare and on to Amalfi and Ravello. Great Bakery about 50 yards away (bread, milk, eggs etc). Take away pizza about 100 yards and supermarket about 5 min walk. Clear and helpful info from the host (who also organised taxi to and from airport for us).

− Not a didn’t like… we were well aware in advance but this is not a touristy area. It is not by a beach with tourist tat and overpriced bars.., it is right next to the commuters station and really great value as a base for exploring. The balcony is great for a quick breakfast but not somewhere you would want to sit for hours. The lift is tiny.

Amazing apartment with great views in a great location

The apartment was extremely clean, well presented, quiet, large rooms and very comfortable - a real home from home. The location was great for exploring the area especially as the train station was so close. It was only 10 minutes to Pompeii! Flora (the owner) sent me lots of photos and videos on how to find and access the apartment and suggested lots of local places to eat.The views were great (Versuvius out the back windows!) and sea view to the front.

The place was very clean and comfortable. The living room was beautifully furnished. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was cozy. The view of the bay was beautiful

− The kitchen sink did not drain well and when washing dishes would fill up the basin needs attention. The washing machine did not start only after I turned the plug in the outlet off then back on. Then it also stopped during the washing cycle and had to turn the wall outlet power off and on again to restart it.

A spacious apartment with great views and balconies

A rare place where you feel like at home. A spacious apartment (3 rooms!) in the building which has a decent elevator and entrance hall. Apartment with high ceilings superbly appointed, has everything you need, but nothing you don't. Good Wi-Fi, washing machine as plus. The apartment is warm in winter – radiators and a convenient thermostat control! and there are also air conditioners. The balcony on the 7th floor with a sea view and a view of Vesuvius from the bedroom are top! A big supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, a bakery and a pizzeria are nearby. The train station is right outside (it doesn't bother you at all, but on the contrary, it's very convenient for planning trips). Free city parking is available near the building; whoever parks there gets their spot. Considering the local beach is very dirty (in the winter) and there's no promenade, it's best to take a train from your apartment straight to your destination. It's best not to just wander around the city. Vesuvius is in 30 minutes by car (book tickets online in advance), Pompeii is in 2 stops, 3 euros, and 5 minutes away from home. Napoli is in 25 minutes by train, or go to Sorrento (and the best beach is on Meta). Flora is a host, very nice and kind person we’ve met. Unfortunately, there was no dishwasher; one would have been very useful in this apartment! And the furniture on the main balcony will probably be updated soon, as will the kitchen table.

Appartement spacieux, confortable et propre, situé dans une ville non touristique mais stratégique pour visiter Pompei, le Vésuve, Sorrente et Naples grâce à la gare située à 2 minutes à pied. Petits commerces de proximité au top. Très bonne communication et disponibilité des propriétaires. Vue sur le Vésuve et Capri nous offrant un très beau spectacle de feux d’artifice le réveillon du jour de l’an.

− Le manque de chauffage qui était inconfortable le soir

Unit was central and handy location for both Naples and Pompeii. The unit was tidy and clean and hosts were really responsive. The view was fabulous.
