Great location

− The temperature in the apartment was unbearable despite having two portable AC units. Wifi is extremely poor and affected the use of the TV. Poor lighting in both bathrooms due to blown light bulbs and toilet seats dirty. Didn't like the sticky worktops in the kitchen, which was off-putting. Parking spot tight and impossible to park if adjacent drivers park poorly. Poor communications from the owner as payment wasn't taken early and was concerned they might cancel our booking. My daughter was too scared to use the main bathroom due to the poor lighting and was unable to use the fix shower head. The temperature of the shower could easily scald you as showers are non thermostatically controlled, so be careful if you have youngsters

Lovely apartment, good layout and views

− Our stay was during a heatwave, apartment gets very hot. However A/C units and fans are provided which help.

A Simply Superb Christmas at this Perfect Penthouse

Everything about this property works, we considered ourselves highly fortunate that it was available at all, particularly as the booking was only confirmed about 10 minutes before we arrived! Guy, the property manager, could not have been more helpful , dispatching his keyholder to meet us to hand over the keys in person and show me into the property, sending pictures to help with the super-convenient private parking space and responding immediately to my one enquiry. The property itself is simply spectacular, comfortably furnished and comprehensively equipped, everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay was present - and the views are simply amazing. All the rooms are unusually spacious, both bedrooms being a joy to retire to after brisk Yuletide strolls. Evenings in were enhanced by excellent smart TVs in three rooms, and the faultless WiFi made it almost a shame not to be working, at least a little bit! I’ll be keeping an eye on availability here , it’s not the cheapest but it’s worth every penny. I’m not a soft touch review-wise, there’s always something that could improve, but this is HQ if I can possibly get my dates. Simply outstanding.

Fantastic location and great views. A very comfortable stay. Communication and information from the owner were excellent.

− There was just one small thing, the water in the showers did not run very hot but otherwise all was fantastic.

The instructions on how to get to the property , how to park and how to get in were fantastic, with pictures to illustrate. The penthouse itself was of a great quality, great views and beds were incredible comfortable. Facilities were great too.

− This didn't distract from our stay and it's great to have parking, but it was a bit of a mare to unload things with the car being a little further than just on the road, but we managed and we'll know for next time. Also the mirror lights in the bathrooms didn't work, again not major but would be good.
