Cute little cottage in a cute little seaside location. Unfortunately spoiled but rubbish weather conditions
7.0It was generally well equipped but instructions on how to use the hob would have been useful.
− I felt the description of it having a picnic area was misleading. I also thought the reference to the bathing pool was misleading. Saying it was available at an extra charge without explaining that it was located 3 miles away!

− There was a smell of dampness downstairs But maybe because of the season we stayed in. It was still early spring. Or maybe this is just Cornwall thing. Or possibly is the beauty of the historic walls 🙂

8.0Well located and very clean and comfortable. A nice touch was milk and tea and coffee left as well as chocolate biscuits.
− Forgot to get some wood for the burner and local shop shut at 3:00, so it was cold in the evening- though there were blankets to snuggle under on the sofa to watch tv

Miserable stay - had to leave - no help from owner.
1.0It was a quaint old building that had been nicely remodeled.
− The only heat was one space heater. It was feeezing inside. The outside temperature was around 40F, and we could not get the main heater working. We tried to contact the owner, but got no response. After trying many different times we were miserable and had to book another property. The owner refused to refund any of our stay, even though they admitted that they remotely control the heat to turn off at 9 pm. It was a complete nightmare. The owner is not responding to any of our messages or to customer service. We have never had a problem like this and were more than willing to work to reach a mutually agreeable solution, but this owner is completely unreasonable. I would not recommend anyone staying there.
