Lovely hut and location for a peaceful stay. Be aware no WIFI or logs for fire so be prepared :)
7.0The hut is set in a great spot overlooking a field close to what looks like an old farm house. The hut was cosy and compact with hob and basic cooking facilities.
− It was quite cold during the night and the fireplace wasn't supplied with any logs. I had difficulty locating any nearby so ended up using the small cylindrical heater throughout the entire evening to take the edge off. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the cupboards with the under sink and glass/ plate cupboards obviously not recently cleaned with crumbs and stains in. The toiletries provided were also nearly finished or part full which was disappointing although an addition to what I expected to be provided. I do think the details on booking.com need to be more specific about whats provided. The microwave is a convention oven not a full oven and highlighting logs aren't included would have been useful so I could of picked some up en route. The keys didn't work for the games room the first few nights of my stay but was fixed by the last night so i was able to use the sofa in there to chill and have more space.
An oasis of peace , with beautiful views
10.0Beautiful find in the Suffolk countryside, very peaceful and easy to find . It had everything I needed and Framingham two minutes away if you have forgotten anything
− Nothing really , it was beautiful. I’m 6ft 4 and didn’t feel cramped .
An enjoyable stay in a quaint shepherd's hut
10.0I liked the situation of the shepherd's hut in the quiet countryside. The kitchen equipment was good with an electric kettle, tea and coffee supplied, plus fridge, toaster, microwave, electric hob, plates, mugs and all utensils. Tea towels, washing up liquid, cloths and scourer supplied too, which are too often missing. The convertible sofa/double bed was comfortable. The electric lights were cleverly designed to look like taps with jam jars over the spout...I couldn't figure them out to begin with! The window curtains were attractively arranged and there plenty little windows to let in the light. The handheld shower was just as I like it and there was hot water available for the sink and shower from an electric water tank underneath the bed. There was a wood burner with some wood and kindling supplied, though I didn't use it. There was also a small floor heater, which was on all the time to prevent dampness.
− It didn't bother me much on my visit in October, but I think I would have needed a proper electric heater during the colder winter months. Tending to a woodburning stove would be a bit impractical when you are going to and from the hut during the day and also out for a period in the evenings. I came on my bike, so would not have been able to carry wood from a store. An electric oil-filled radiator would be much more practical in my opinion and would take up less space than the wood burner.

10.0Everything was good
− Nothing
Great location for a solo traveller exploring Suffolk.
8.0The location was great, the pre-arrival instructions were clear, and it was as described. I loved the peace and quiet - just me, and a horse in the next field. The shower was remarkably good once i worked out how to switch on the hot water.
− No beers and crisps on arrival, as was detailed in the welcome information. Also the door to the hut didn't shut fully at the bottom so it was not possible to just have the top of the stable door open

7.0The location was lovely, peaceful and close to the local pub 1/2 mile walking and a 5 minute drive to Framlingham.
− Seemed a little overpriced for what is essentially a shed on wheels. Strong smell from the septic tank. No welcome beer on arrival as promised.
