I thought I was careful enough before paying 1500 Euros, but you cannot be too careful, can you?
3.0The internal conditions of the property are OK. The mattress is quite comfortable. The owner hired a lady to clean the flat twice during the four weeks. The owner was responsive to my texts.
− First, the property is not the property advertised on Booking.com; instead, it is an annex to the advertised property, which I only became to know on arrival. Second, when I arrived, two young men were already sleeping in the property, and the owner could not open the door. I had to knocked the door hard to wake up the two men and asked them to move out. Third, a man lived in the above flat made quite some noise when he was moving. And I didn't have complete privacy because the man could see the inside of my flat when he was walking up the stairs to his flat, because the stairs are right outside my flat and the blind was not covering the window completely. Fourth, a lady living in the main house has two dogs, one of which was constantly barking. Another smaller dog next door is also very noisy. Fifth, I had to go to a dark downstairs to wash my clothes, which was a bit scary at the beginning. Finally, the location of the flat is not good anymore once I found out that a short-cut was blocked because of some construction work at tunnel under the train line; consequently, I had to take a longer route to the supermarkets and a train station.
