Beautiful property but terrifying experience.
1.0The property seemed very nice, however the sliding door didn’t lock. We were looking forward to sitting poolside in the morning but that didn’t happen.
− At 2am a young male, unbeknownst to us, an intoxicated guest of the property owner’s son, opened the sliding door to our room. It was the most terrifying night I ever had. While holding the door shut, I called 911. They came promptly and explained who the person was who entered our room. However, the damage was already done. The police tried to lock the door, which did not lock. Considering the hr and I had to travel back to NY in the morning my friend had to travel to CA, we used a broom to keep the door shut and really never slept the rest of the night. We left immediately in the morning. When it first happened, the owner said she would issue us a refund and apologized. More than a month later she has not issued us a refund and given me various excuses.
