Gorgeous Yorkshire farmhouse for a relaxing weekend break in the Dales.

We had a fantastic stay at Granny House. The location is beautiful and the house was spacious and well equipped. We loved sitting in the garden enjoying our pre-dinner drinks in the sunshine. Wonderful bootroom for all the outdoor gear. We didn't use the cosy sitting room but it would have been great in Winter. The big kitchen was a great socialising space for our group of friends to relax and catch up in. You can walk straight from the house which is a huge plus and lots of information is provided for local walks and places of interest

− The only walk in shower is in the ensuite which was a slight issue. The lovely main bathroom has a handheld shower over the bath. No downstairs loo either.

Location was fabulous, very peaceful but accessible. The house was really comfortable and warm. It was well stocked, with lovely thoughtful touches, like fresh eggs and basic necessities such as cooking oils. The garden and orchard area was beautiful and so lovely to sit out there.

The house is well equipped and very comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom is the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. We loved the view and the stars were amazing. We stayed for 2 nights but would have liked to stay for longer. 10/10
