Rancho Santa Margarita *Peaceful Getaway*
9.0This setting was great for a nice quiet comfortable getaway. The green surroundings were aesthetically pleasing & well kempt. Ground level parking was easily accessible/near the unit. Parking passes were mandatory to keep unconfirmed visitors out of the parking area. There is an HOA & security monitoring although this is not a gated community. Access from property to main roads made travel convenient. Bed linens & mattress were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Cleanliness was exemplary throughout the property. The shared kitchen area had adequate refrigerator, counter and cupboard space to accommodate our supplies. The host offered the private garage for us to load in and out, store ice chest etc. The host cleaned shared living areas daily. The house rule is leaving the shoes at the door prior entry, light carpet color. The backyard had beautiful views of the mountains to the East. We enjoyed the sunrise from our window. We enjoyed our quiet stay. The host is on property and attentive to request and answers questions. We enjoyed the double sinks, mirrored surfaces and great lighting in this master suite with vaulted ceilings. There is also a bidet & full size shower/tub.
− Temperature was not consistent downstairs vrs upstairs. It was too warm during the nights. We were not home during the days which also would have been too warm to be in the room. Downstairs area stayed cool/AC. Our upstairs room needed fans, portable towers or ceiling style. We had a window in our room. We were told to alert the host if we opened the window at night so the AC could be adjusted accordingly. Room offerings are both upstairs. The host did attempt to cool our Master suite upon request. The downstairs temp was very cool to accommodate cooling the upstairs & vaulted ceilings. This setting is not for children/pets or those who have difficulty with stairs. Walls/carpets are very light in color, very clean/pristine.
