10.0Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was very clean and had tea and coffee facilities, microwave, fridge and TV. Soft towels and toiletries provided. Excellent full English breakfast and a choice of cereals, selection of different breads for toast and orange juice, tea and coffee. Good bus service to Bridgend, around the coast , Cardiff and Swansea.

It was OK for a one night stay.

− We arrived much later than expected but when I tried to phone to let the guesthouse know, the stated phone number was unobtainable! There was no-one on reception - just a bell to ring. There was a rough note on the table showing our booking and room numbers. After several ring attempts someone appeared - if they hadn't we would not have found our rooms since access was elsewhere. One of the rooms we booked had a bath and shower (and cost more) but neither room had a bath - both just had showers. Room 3 occupant thought the shower was dirty. She could not make the kettle work, nor the plug in the wash basin.
