10.0This place is just wonderful and it exceeded our expectations in all areas. The Onsen is gorgeous and we also had one in our room, which was fabulous. The Italian dinner was exceptional. All of us--3 adults--agreed, that we would stay here again. The town is quaint and the lake an mountains are spectacular.
− I am not fond of a Japanese Breakfast, although appreciated the authenticy.

10.0Everything ! The staff is lovely, the place was amazing, the private onsen lovely, the one outdoor too. They even took everything into account to craft our meals (my Friend was vegan and I dont eat meat) and it was absolutely delicious. We had the most restful and amazing stay there ♡

10.0We loved our 2 night stay. Staff very helpful and friendly both at reception and in restaurant. Even before arrival staff were helpful with advice by email. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed in room private onsen and also the private use of the outdoor onsens (can for an hour each day of stay) Also enjoyed in-room massage chair - a nice surprise ! The included meals - dinner and breakfast were excellent - above expectations ! Perfect location for Lake Shikotsu Ice festival. Highly recommend.
− Nothing ! Just note - public bus from Chitose only goes 4 times per day and can be hard to get on in peak times. We were unable to book Blue Liner bus as none of our credit cards were accepted despite being OK for everything else in Japan. We took Taxi from stand at domestic airport cost approx 9200yen
Excellent stay, great food and silky onsen water.
10.0The wooden onsen bath inside the room, along with the view of the lake from the room, are just simply amazing. Great food, staff is very welcoming and the lady at the receptionist spoke great English. There are only a handful of rooms so it feels very private and luxurious. They also managed to pick us up from the bus station so we did not have to walk in the snow. You can also book to use the outdoor onsen (wooden and rock) upon check in.
