The house is situated at a good location In Haltwhistle (near shops and restaurants), is spacious and has lots of nice details. The bedrooms are good (roomsizes, beds, tvs), the living room is good. Other rooms/area are a lacking some proper/professional maintenance. The contact with the host was by means of emails, which was prompt and informative.

Minor issue: there was no coffee making equipment at the property. Indeed, it was not explicitly stating it would, but I just expected it to be based on 'fully equipped kitchen'. Minor issue: some lightbulbs did not work or were flickering

We have just had a lovely 3 night stay in these apartments. There is a lot of positives so will start with those. The apartment is in a fantastic location in Haltwhistle. The apartment is very nicely decorated. The beds were all clean and comfortable with fresh bedding and linen. Plenty of clean fresh towels for the bathroom. The kitchen had everything that we needed. It is a very spacious apartment which was perfect for us 4 adults and 2 kids. Unfortunately there are a number of issues surrounding the apartment that need to be addressed. The very first thing is that the front door is very stiff, once unlocking the door we had to use bodily force to push it open. When the door is closed from the inside there is no handle in the inside to pull the door open so essentially we were stuck. We had to lift the letterbox pull it towards us to get out every time. Once inside the door, there is a trip hazard where tiles are missing on the floor and carpet has been put on top of it. There is no lights in the hall until further into the building which is fine in light summer months, however this could be problematic in the winter months. In the hall the fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling with no batteries in this, again this poses a risk to further occupants. The wardrobes and drawers in the rooms are not nice inside, and had remnants of the ongoing refurbishment in them, an old curtain, wires, screws etc In one of the bedrooms there was beer bottles and wrappers in the cupboard when we arrived. There is 4 Brand new TVs in the property, none of them are set up or working properly. The WiFi in the apartment does not work, however there is an option to pay extra for this through EE if you wish to do so.

Pretty dismal as the weather was bad with no tv.

The heating worked

− The televisions are not set up and working,the fridge freezer still had packaging on and not cleaned,the front door had a new lock so badly fitted it had split the door,the sofas has buttons missing leaving sharp edges,the firm hosting it never replied to my phone call and email,the work that was done to the property was not finished and there was extension leads everywhere,the internet has to be paid for and there is no information in the property
