pleasant experience in a beautiful setting but inconvenient kitchen.
7.0− We have stayed in this cottage for years under two previous managements. We were very disappointed with the kitchen upgrade. Instead of the lovely table with 8 chairs and a dresser with the dishes there was a huge marble top island. It was inconvenient for our family to sit together with only 4 stools and 5 of us. The elders could not easily sit on on stools or get up on them. Dishes were difficult to find where with the former dresser they were handy.
Cosy stay in an unbeatable location with lots of amenities.
8.0The location is great, cannot be beat. Cosy vibes. Good amenities. Great cooking facilities. Fire and lounge room was lovely. Comfortable couches. Good access to streaming apps. Comfortable beds.
− Shower was very hot, couldn’t get it colder. It also didn’t drain very quickly so was standing in water the whole shower.

A perfect Cotswolds retreat - highly recommended.
10.0Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and wonderfully well equipped, with lots of thoughtful touches that made our stay really special. The beds were very comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets provided. We were impressed by the efforts made by our hosts to keep in touch about our booking and to offer help if needed. The cottage is in an idyllic location, with outdoor seating surrounded by roses. If you don’t feel like cooking, it is just a short walk to the excellent village pub, the Horse and Groom, but the kitchen is well designed and has everything that you might need if you do decide to dine in.
− We would have appreciated a larger teapot! Apart from that, we found nothing else to complain about.

A beautiful and well equipped Cotswold cottage to wind down and recharge
10.0A beautiful cottage with all the characters of Cotswold (original beams, thick walls, stone floors) but with all the modern comfort and facilities (underfloor heating, digital wall mounting heating, modern bath tubs, well equipped kitchen). I am thrilled to find Nutribullet and even Eko yoga mat. With its proximity to the Daylesford Organic Farm, the cottage is a true reflection of the ethos of organic and healthy living. It has been a blissful few days of relaxation and escape from the busy world.
