Pleasant stay in a great location with less options for food...
7.0I was searching for a place to stay in Khoksar and came across this fantastic place, located right on the highway. It offers standard lodging and amenities. We booked a junior suite room that was too spacious; the seating area was just next to the beautiful Chandra River. The dining area was quite large. Meals were served in large quantities. The staff were very cordial and took great care of us. This is perhaps the only place to stay near the highway in Khoksar if you plan to stay overnight during long mountain journeys.
− We purchased a complimentary dinner/breakfast buffet plan, but on arrival, we were told that only the à la carte option was available for dinner. We asked for less spicy meals, but they offered only North Indian (Punjabi-style) dishes for lunch and dinner, which were too spicy. They didn’t have any light continental dishes, which you get anywhere in Manali. Also, the breakfast buffet didn’t have many options. So, overall, we were a bit disappointed with the food, which doesn't justify the amount paid. A few minor issues: The bedroom faced the highway, so it was quite noisy during the daytime. It would’ve been nice to have an exhaust fan and a floor wiper in the bathroom. There was no Wi-Fi connectivity.

5.0The rooms were decent to pass by but there is 1 common washroom for 12 beds that is two 6 beds dorms. Reaching the dorm room is a bit of task to climb down two stairs sets. The staff is okay but the restaurant they have it is very unreasonably expensive. We had 2 portion daal khichdi costing 770! The food prices are excessively high. All in all it is okay if you just want a place to sleep. Do not expect much
