Wonderful, romantic and beautiful weekend away🥰
10.0The property was clean, well maintained and exactly what we expected. It is perfect for couples - wanting a romantic quiet weekend away. It is quite far away from most things, but this was perfect for us. It was a lovely, hidden little gem.
− There was nothing we didn’t like. The man coming to check the hot tub everyday caught me off guard. Maybe he should wear a uniform but besides that everything was absolutely perfect.
If you have dogs its a good location but don't expect much with the listed facilities all dated
7.0Good Location
− Park overall very tired and neglected, was very disappointed with the castle attractions, No equipment, shabby and rundown. The Pool was very poor looking This Could be a great park with a bit of investment
Nice place to be but the cabin needs seriously updating and renovating, and remove the letter from the bailiffs!!!!
6.0Cabin was a nice size, perfect for a family of four. The site had plenty to keep kids entertained. And was nice and tranquil.
− Not enough room around the hot tub so getting the cover on and off was a real struggle. A notice of intention to seize the cabin by bailiffs was on the kitchen window and was the first thing you saw as you came through the gate, NOT A GOOD LOOK, letter was dated March and it’s still stuck to the window, REALLY?!!!! Log burner had been removed, giant hearth left in place which everybody tripped over, it previously would’ve been bordered by a fire guard, cabin was really showing signs of age, really could do with updating in the off season. Instructions for use of the hot tub, shower before use, how? The cabin doesn’t have a shower, something that needs rectifying.
I don’t recommend this place if you needed to be in the area. Our chalet needed a massive facelift and deep clean and so
5.0Nice location, we are attending a wedding in the area so it meant we could walk there and back. I would say this was the only positive though.
− The property was incredibly tired. The sinks didn’t rain properly. Everything felt a little bit grubby. The dishwasher door was broken. The knobs on the oven didn’t work properly so you couldn’t gauge the temperature. Nothing more than a place to lay our heads.
Great fun and well run. Give it a go.
9.0We liked everything it’s a complete hoot
− We didn’t dislike anything really, it’s well run with great facilities and they are very chill, it’s not rules rules rules. We liked it a lot.
