This is a cheap convenient stay in downtown St Louis lacking in amenities.
6.0It’s a good enough choice if you need a cheap stay. Everything was clean, they were responsive, and it was comfortable. The area is safe enough to walk major streets during the day, though it’s unadvisable at night.
− There is a second door in the bedroom that exits to the hallway, and neither doors have deadlocks, which isn’t ideal. Also, don’t expect to have any stove pans, laundry detergent, sugar, or anything basic beyond salt and pepper.
One night
10.0The design was nice. It was clean. We did not use any appliances in the apartment but it was well equipped.
− The building and the area look unappealing.
Everything about it was nice i literally have no complaint. It was literally a one bedroom apartment
10.0It wa way better then expected. Glad i rented this place
DONT BOOK THIS for families
1.0It was such an unpleasant experience it's hard to recall anything positive.
− This place LIES. The 'twin' bed is a fold out metal cot with holes in its plastic 2" mattress. The 'sofa bed' is a hard fold down love seat - maybe 5 feet long tops, that only a five year old might be comfortable on. Anyone taller had to sleep across the middle dip. The garage parking is nonexistent- instead she tells you to park ILLEGALLY on metered parking in a bad neighborhood. Even the king bed was some odd hard foam type mattress. We walked in- realized we could not ask our tall teen sons to sleep there and were refused a refund by both the manager and booking.com (because we made the mistake of entering). So disappointing. And I was very nice with the host leading up to the disappointment only to be treated horribly, gaslighted then ghosted on the phone. Not a single apology. I'd post more photos of how bad this was for traveling family but I can only post 4.
Sufficient for what we needed. Shockingly clean compared to the rest of the building.
7.0As others have mentioned, the entrance and hallways to the unit are in rough shape and getting rougher. But as soon as you arrive inside the unit it’s extremely clean. We wanted a location very close to the city museum so this was great. Just make sure to adjust your expectations about the rest of the building.
− Pool was open but other residents said it wasn’t serviced for most of the summer and has been unusable. Inside the unit there are no surfaces to unpack your bags, like a dresser or anything in the bedroom, so be prepared to scatter all your things on the floor.
