Great location, comfortable apartment with a short walk to the town.
8.0A great location and clear arrival instructions. Well equipped with everything we needed and also a welcome pack with tea, coffee and fresh milk. Bathroom was a good size although the shower in the bath was in an awkward position. Personally would have preferred a larger bed but that’s our view. Nice view towards the river from the lounge window, comfortable sofa and a nice dining table along with instruction books, ideas, places to visit etc. we would stay again.
− Everything was perfect until our last morning. We were asked to take pillow cases and duvet cover off which is not a problem. However, we were very disappointed to find glitter all over the mattress protector along with green strands of tinsel. In my opinion this should have been changed to a fresh cover
Quiet and comfortable
10.0Quiet location near the car ferry terminal with views of that harbour from the comfy sofa. Felt recently renovated and a place you'd be happy to be stuck in if the weather was poor (I luckily did not have that problem!).Well stocked kitchen with all you need to be self catering though Fowey also has lots of eating out options, particularly at lunchtime.
− Few food shopping options in the village. You could get all you need from Richards greengrocer and all the stuff they have is of a very high quality (deffo recommend the crab rolls. They have warm from home meals plus fresh fruit and veg, fish and meat to cook for yourself)). But it is pricey. There is a new coop about a half hour walk from the flat outside town, which is also helpful.
The apartment is superbly located and has everything you need inside it. Will definitely be booking again
