9.0You get exactly what you see in the pictures here. Perfect for people who love the peaceful side of Goa. A homely stay, very cozy. Querim beach is at a walkable distance. The rest of the village is also very pretty. I would highly recommend it to people who like simple things in life.

10.0Our stay at Laxmi Happy Home was one we will never forget! Manuel went above and beyond to make our trip easy and fun. He took me personally to nearby town Arambol when I needed to pick up things there and was constantly informing us of exciting events and activities we could do. The homestay itself is beautiful, our room was spacious, clean and we were surrounded by stunning greenery. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were great and hot water worked perfectly, we had unlimited access to clean water and cooking equipment such as a hob and fridge! Location wise you’re a 5-10 minute walk from Querim beach which is the perfect getaway as it’s not as crowded as nearby beaches but still has plenty of restaurants and beach shacks. There are also small shops and restaurants around the homestay area so everything you need is very accessible. Manuel dined with us, offered to do yoga with us in the mornings, gave us dance lessons and we even went out to see an amazing concert with him which we wouldn’t have found without his help! His attention to detail and level of engagement made us feel like part of the family rather than just guests! Bonus points for the absolutely adorable kittens!!
− Although there are shops and restaurants around, we had a moped and so accessing them was very easy however, if you are just walking than they aren’t as quick to get to and transport is difficult to access in that area so getting to nearby town Arambol is quite tricky. If you do get into Arambol I’d recommend getting the number of an auto or taxi driver!
