The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. It was very comfortable and lovely and light in the day but could make it lovely and dark for sleeping. We had a great breakfast, good quality and served with a beautiful view of the countryside. The hosts were welcoming and helpful.

Een prachtige, luxe kamer met luxe badkamer. Voor wandelaars en fietsers serveren ze ook avondeten dat ze in hun enorme woonkeuken serveren. Goed eten (lasagne aanrader) en goed ontbijt met vers fruit. Bijzonder om op zo’n afgelegen, ‘off the grid’ boerderij te overnachten.

The property is easily one of the best in the UK for someone that wants to get away from the hustle of city life and just get a chance to breath! The hosts are nice and the breakfast, as everyone said, was amazing. Rooms are incredibly comfortable and have all one needs.

− Isn’t too much that’s needed or to complain about. It’s purposefully away from city life. So, plan ahead for certain things or be ready to drive a bit to get them. However, the drives are peaceful. So, it’s maybe a win-win!

Staying with Alex and Stuart felt like stepping into a little piece of a fairytale. As you come over the crest of the road, their farm reveals itself in a gentle hollow, almost as if it has been waiting quietly to welcome you. The surroundings carry a magical stillness, and at night the starry sky feels endless, radiating a rare kind of energy that lingers long after you’ve gone back home. If you are looking for a place in the middle of a dreamlike nowhere – a place that combines style, warmth, and genuine kindness – this is it. Alex and Stuart’s hospitality makes you feel both cared for and free, as though you’ve found a home hidden in the most enchanting corner of the world. Der Aufenthalt bei Alex und Stuart fühlte sich an wie ein Schritt in ein kleines Märchen. Wenn man über die Kuppe der Straße kommt, zeigt sich ihre Farm in einer sanften Senke, fast so, als hätte sie nur darauf gewartet, dich willkommen zu heißen. Die Umgebung trägt eine magische Stille, und in der Nacht scheint der Sternenhimmel endlos – er verströmt eine seltene, besondere Energie, die noch lange nachklingt, wenn man wieder ins Haus zurückkehrt. Wer inmitten eines traumhaften Nirgendwo einen Ort mit Stil, Wärme und echter Herzlichkeit sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Alex’ und Stuarts Gastfreundschaft lässt dich zugleich umsorgt und frei fühlen – fast so, als hätte man ein verborgenes Zuhause im bezauberndsten Winkel der Welt gefunden.

Remote and quite farm house

Very remote location surrounded by nature, perfect for a nice weekend away from busy cities.The room was very cosy and modern, and a lot of attention has been put to every detail. Beautiful bathroom and great shower, very powerful and relaxing. Stuart and Alex are very good hosts and they go above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying your stay.
