Perfect for a week's peace and quiet. A stone's throw from the beach and good food available within a 2 minute walk. The rear yard us a perfect, private sun trap

Good location but it was a bit of an expensive endurance test. People say nice things in the book to

The bedrooms were a good size and the cottage nicely furnished and quiet.

− The cottage was dangerous for those a bit lacking in agility. The front doorstep was a hazard getting in and out, the stairs were steep and narrow and I had a couple of falls. There were no instructions as to how to work the coffee machine, heating and hot water and tv and it seemed stuck on a Scottish channel. When we arrived one of the flower pots outside was filled with masses of cigarette butts, and bags of rubbish. What was the system?

This is a terrible misrepresentation of a luxury cottage very basic, poor and dirty.

Location was excellent.

− The Cottage was extremely small and the dining room had no windows. The property also had no washing machine, Dishwasher, Microwave or stand alone shower only a bath with a shower attatchment. There was only room for three people to sit in the living room. The property was clearly unsuitable for a family of four for 10 days and I felt we were misled as to its suitability. The 'Courtyard' was a yard with cracked concrete and a rusty table and 4 old fold up chairs and an open drain which the bath water ran out there was also cat poo in the yard. When we arrived at 16.00 the cleaner was still 'cleaning' the property which was supposed to be available from 10.00am. Even after the cleaner had left their was dirt on the stairways and dead insects on the window sills ( I have photos if you would like me to share them). My wife spent the first night of our stay cleaning the place !

Cosy cottage in a great location

The location was fantastic, the beach was yards away as was the High Street. The cottage is nicely decorated & the hosts had left the heating on Low as it was unseasonably cold.

− The cottage did smell damp & there were a few ants in the kitchen but it’s an old property so we didn’t really feel it was worth making a fuss. We would have liked more towels, a microwave & a standing shower.
