Fireworks every night!

Wow! This location was perfect! We stayed 11 nights. The views did not disappoint. The balcony was the best part. We loved the 2 person lounger and the large table. We watched the fireworks every night. Even though it was hot every day, the balcony was always shaded. The king size beds and pillows were so comfortable. We loved having the slippers as all the floors are tile and wood. The showers worked very well. There are no windows in the bathrooms and we had to have battery operated candles at night bc it was dark. The air conditioners worked perfectly in each room and had individual controls. We walked 5 minutes to the Eurospar and M&S in the mall around the corner and bought snacks and drinks. The Queen Elizabeth II Pub is a great place to eat and it's right next door. There are many other restaurants just a 10 minute walk away. Bolt was never more than a 4 minute wait right outside the door. The Valletta ferry and the Gozo ferries are a 7 minute walk. There is also a a Hop-on Hop-off bus stop nearby.

− Some of the appliances needed a thorough cleaning. The counter top ice maker, the water dispenser, and coffee maker all smelled of mold. We brought this to their attention and they did clean but I don't think the girl understood our concerns. I think they just did a wipe down. We bought ice and water bc we didn't want to use these appliances. The washing machine broke while we were there but they immediately replaced it. There are lots of dishes, cutlery and cookware but you'll need to bring basics to cook with (oil, spices). There is no microwave. Be aware that the pool area across the street plays loud music in the afternoon until about 7 or 8pm. Then the music is turned down. All in all it is a special place and we really enjoyed being there. We can't wait to come back.

Large rooms and fully equipped apartments. We had two for our family and one had the 'best view' of Valletta. A short walk to many restaurants and the ferry. The concierge staff day and night were friendly and helpful. Handy to have use of the indoor poor and the lido easily accessed across the road.

− Would have liked to have our apartments in the same block but it was fine.
