Clean, modern and comfortable apartment. Good facilities, including the extra outside shower snd wifi. Close to the beach, walking distance. Nice lido Venere. Amazing sea and the beach.

− No dishwasher, but that wasn’t a big problem.

Hidden gem in Salento

The place is perfect for a relaxed getaway or even a family vacation, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week and just didn't want to leave. June was the perfect time and Pescoluse was the perfect place, not too crowded, amazing sea, amazing people, amazing food, a car drive to all the main places in the south of Salento. Fly to Brindisi, rent a car and make your way to this hidden piece of paradise, the house doesn't have internet, which I believe is an actual bonus (of course you can use your phone data, but I assure you we did not missing being away from our phones apart from taking pictures). Base yourself here and after the day on the beach, go home, take a shower outside (yes there is an extra shower outside), relax until the sun goes down and gets fresher, then get in the car and visit the cities of Salento for the evening: Gallipoli, Leuca, Otranto, San Andrea, Grotta della Poesia, Torre dell'Orso (although this is very busy, more adapt for youngsters looking to party). If you're staying in town, then go for Dinner at "La Cozza", fantastic food and amazing staff, and if you want a bottle of wine for tour BBQ then visit Lido Venere for a take away bottle (they have a great selection and have a 20% discount on take away bottles). Pizza is great at "Tora" in Felloniche, just a 10min drive, plus sunsets are amazing from there. As an added bonus Donatella and her family are amazing and extremely accommodating, just do yourselves a favor and go and visit Salento, you will not regret it. I tried adding some of the tips we thought were going to be very useful, things that we would've loved to know from the get go, and I hope whoever sees this can enjoy these little tips. Will be coming again for sure!

− Although the bed was new and firm, it was too hard. Would benefit from a mattress topper. The view of the ocean interrupted by a construction as seen on the pictures
