Ruhige Lage auch im Haus war es sehr ruhig. Top ist natürlich der reservierte Parkplatz. Auf Google Maps ist die Lage der Wohnung nicht korrekt eingegeben, das Haus ist in der zweiten Reihe zur Via Monfalcone. Fußläufig sind Bäckerei, Supermarkt und Restaurants erreichbar. Wir haben die Gegend als angenehm empfunden. Manche Möbeln haben Gebrauchsspuren, bei uns war alles sauber geputzt. Der Einbauofen in der Küche hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, dafür war ein neuer kleiner Zusatzofen da. Das große Bett ist sehr bequem. Die Betten im Kinderzimmer wirken nicht so bequem für Erwachsene oder größere Kinder. Die Kommunikation hat super über WhatsApp geklappt. Für uns war es ein gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis, da Nebensaison.

Nice location in La spezia, private parking (was very helpful for us), two balconies: on one side a large one, where we could dry our clothes and have a nice view of the city, and on the other, quieter side was a smaller balcony where we could eat a nice breakfast in peace. The kitchen was well equipped and we could prepare food comfortably. The room with the double bed is quite large and the bed is very comfortable.

− For two evenings we had no access to hot water, as there was a problem with the boiler. The company managing our apartment was in no hurry to fix it (but eventually they did). The room with two single beds is quite small and one of the beds moves a lot, making it less comfortable to sleep on.

The only one positive aspect was the availability of free parking.

− Unfortunately, our stay was not as comfortable as we expected. Here are a few points to consider before booking: Registration process: Be ready to spend at least 30 minutes entering all passport details for each guest, including uploading passport photos. Even after completing this, the host required each guest to take a selfie while holding their passport next to their face and send it over. This felt excessive and inconvenient. Communication: The host was not very responsive and often ignored some of my questions. For example, I had to repeatedly ask for clarification about the city tax. He insisted on charging an additional €7.50 for children, and I had to provide proof that the city tax only applies to guests over 12 years old. Location: The apartment is located about 30 minutes from the old town by foot, and the surrounding area didn’t feel safe at night. Apartment condition: The photos online are heavily edited. In reality, the furniture (especially in the kitchen) is very worn out. The light switches were so dirty that we felt uncomfortable touching them. The oven was extremely dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time (see photo).
