Beautiful villa with a great infinity pool and gorgeous views of the valley and ocean beyond.
10.0The villa has a beautiful view of the valley below. It's wonderful leaning over the edge of the pool and gazing over the valley at dusk, or anytime, really. The house was clean and well-stocked. The location is a bit remote, but a wonderful respite from the city (close enough to get to the museums and to Knossos in about 30 minutes). You will need to rent a car, but you will need one to see the island, in any case. The host met us and led us to the site when we arrived. He was attentive (but not intrusive) during our stay. He checked in by text several times while we were there, to make sure things were OK.
− Nothing really. The driveway is a bit steep, but manageable, once you figure out how to get up it and open the gate.
