Our stay at Atelier dell Artista was okay. The room was clean and in a good location. The main problem was the air conditioner didn’t work and we weren’t told until several hours after our arrival. The attitude of the host was, you shouldn’t need it anyway. We did need it, especially during the day. At night we had to sleep with the doors and window open. There was a coffee maker but no coffee and we couldn’t find a store nearby to buy some.

Disappointed with amount money per night.

− Communication from Host / Agency very poor. We requested best way to get to accommodation. We were given different location - 60 km away from address. Then provided wrong key box code. Bathroom needs upgrade - shower cubicle size extremely small. Two bath towels supplied, one with 2 holes. Toilet brush condition far from desirable!!

Clean, convenient to Varenna walkway, wash machine

This property is conveniently located in Varenna near the Piazza San Giorgio. It’s a fairly significant walk from the bus stop up the hill with luggage to the facility. Best suited for younger and fit senior adults. The room is comfortable however the shower needs a good cleaning, as there’s a bit of mildew present. And although it really isn’t a big thing, the request that we wash the dishes seemed a bit odd. We only had a few, so we hand washed them rather than using the dishwasher. The entry area is like a fortress and once we figured out the keys, egress and re-entry were easy. Nice small patio area to enjoy fresh air and a pleasant view. Small yard could use a bit of attention.

Veranno is a beautiful town. The apartment is fine apart from the above.

Location was fantastic

− Apartment was bit dated, especially the bathroom. Shower was blocked and this took 2 days (out of 3) to correct.

L’emplacement est très bien

− Insupportable accueil nul … on a attendu une heure avant que quelqu’un veuille bien nous téléphoner pour comprendre comment obtenir les clefs du logement… évident pour eux pas pour nous … il t’envoie des réponses automatiques.
