TERRIBLE and DISRESPECTFUL HOST. FLAWED ACCOMMODATION.

Newly modern built house, spacious for 4 people, 3 bathrooms. Excellent brand new washing and drying machines. Very clean. Sharp cooking knive.

− 1/ Host didn't provide any instruction on how to gain access to the property. We arrived at the property and had to switch on expensive phone roaming charges to message the owner who, fortunately, responded immediately. 2/ We notified the host that the dishwasher didn't work but she KEPT IGNORING ALL MY MESSAGES until I contacted booking.com customer care to complain. Availability of a dishwasher was a key point in selecting a house to stay. The host responded after we had left the property to confirm that the dishwasher was not working and it would be fixed. On top of this useless response/action she insulted our intelligence by pretending she was unfamiliar with the booking.com app (hence the delay in hes response) she had used to provide us with check-in instructions. 3/ Mattresses are low quality and resulted in back pain for me. 4/ Kitchen/cooking ustensiles are low quality (e.g. large silicon spoon as soft as mashmallows making it useless), there are only 4 plates, 4 glasses, etc, no pot/box of any sort. Very little thought from the host on what people would use to be able to cook. 5/ The fridge/freezer is ill designed (freezer at the top) and was probably a cheap buy. If you are 4 feet tall you will probably have no problem in using the fridge. 6/ The AC temperature cannot be controlled and my daughters had to sleep with jumpers. There is a central panel which is controlled by the host, not the guest. 7/ No instruction on where to put the trash and what is the recycling/sorting out trash policy. It is clear that the host has little or no experience in renting out a property for vacationers. Don't waste your money, there are plenty of other options in Florida City. We simply got unlucky.
