I liked the vibe it was cozy and quiet and the view was amazing from the hot tub , sitting outside at night and watching the stars and relaxing in the hot tub was by far the best thing about the whole experience the cabin itself was amazing loads of space and felt cozy

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but the kitchen is small and doesn’t really have a lot of space for food if your staying for more than a few nights

Blossom vs Stags

8.0

Staff were attentive, ladies at reception named star cant thank her enough for moving us at such short notice. Originally booked Blossom and spent the last 2 nights in stags, and what a difference in cleanliness, enclosed garden which the dog cant jump the fence. Comes with a sponge and cloth which we were missing from the last lodge to do dishes. Stags lodge was super clean, and more spacious, cant fault the comfort in it. After paying over 600 for 3 nights we definitely got a happy ending. The ground are stunning itself and has such beauty around it.

We originally booked Blossom lodge, however once arrived and settled we notice that the toilet was loose and wobbled, wasn't till later the smell from the bathroom hit us, wee survived one night in there, and went to reception in the morning to which a man/cleaner came in basically sprayed airfresher and said it was better, language barrier with the cleaners, as they spoke very little english, not even 10 minutes later the smell it was back but worse, so we went back to reception. When flushing the toilet after the guy came we noticed the water was coming out of the seal around the base of the toilet. At the back of the lodge the garden is dog friendly however the bbq area my dog jumped it and out on the banking. We tied it up with spare dog leads, the back could be doing with a higher fencing to prevent this. Downside the bathroom in stags window opens up to Blossoms hot tub and enclosed back garden. A shower curtain could have easily fixed this privacy issue. Not sure what the issue was with the water but my dog refused to drink it, so neither did wee, we bought bottled water. The tap water looked clear but if the dogs turning his nose up at it so did wee. The lighting in the Blossom kitchen needs looked at its ment to be motion sensored but didnt come on at times.
