Idilic place for a get away - highly recommended
9.0The property was exactly what we were hoping for and more. An idilic cottage that takes you back centuries - very pretty, large, lots of space, full of character, 2 fireplaces (although we only used one), clean beautifully located next to the water, lots of walking trails and not far from large tesco for shopping, there was nothing disappointing with it, we loved it all
− There was an electrical issue with one of the bedroom, which meant no wall lights would come on, the owner responded very promptly with suggested ways to solve it. Although none of them worked, it was not a big problem, it was easily overcome by moving a couple of bedside lamps from other rooms. There was a tiny leak from when using the middle bathroom which was no a surprise, and did not disturb our stay at all

6.0Cosy, good garden, excellent size for a big family, beautiful cottage. Toys / games available which was a lovely touch.
− The cleaning wasn’t great (kitchen in particular and the bottom floor toilet) the sofa bed wasn’t made up on arrival and I think it may need a new mattress as you can really feel the bars digging through. The cottage is absolutely stunning, I think it just needs a bit of TLC.

9.0− there was a unit full of games, but we sorted it out as was in a real mess and nearly all the games had bits missing which was a disappointment for the 5 kids
