10.0Everything! This is such a lovely place to stay - it’s in a beautiful village that has great options for pubs and restaurants in the evening (if you’re not cooking up something from the wonderful deli downstairs). It’s well located, a short drive to many of the highlights of Donegal County (Ards Forest, Rathmullen, Glenveagh, Glebe Gallery and Gardens, etc.). The apartment itself is beautiful and has all the things you’d want in a home away from home, including a very comfy bed. The proprietor is the real icing on the cake. He’s a consummate host - welcoming, helpful, friendly and funny to boot. We truly loved our time here. Thank you, Des!

10.0Great location on the river front (shame about the roadworks) The host was exceptional Rooms were large and the decor, whilst a little eclectic, suited the property. Good wifi. A great place to stay

The apartment had unusual paintings and lots of books with a great view. Enterprising owners.
10.0We were able to cook a delicious meal from the goods in the downstairs store attached to our accommodation. We made Duck Ragout with spaghetti and tomato infused sauce. Delicious pre-packed duck legs together with a great bottle of red that was recommended by the owners with a view overlooking the river, we enjoyed our stay at the Blue Goat. The owners had also given us some great cheeses with biscuits to end off our meal. The experience was a total surprise.

10.0Superb accommodation, quiet and very comfortable. Tastefully decorated, and the property has been carefully renovated in a manner sympathetic to its historic location.. All necessary facilities are available within the apartment, and being above the superb Blue Goat delicatessen and coffee shop is in itself reason enough to stay. The icing on this sumptuous cake is the owner / host - Des is a delight, a most welcoming, helpful and generous man. Thank you again Des, we’ll hopefully be back soon. Strongly recommended.
