Good base for Newport
8.0The flat has a fantastic view (it is up a hill). It was very clean/modern and a perfect size for 1 or 2 people. The shower was powerful and it had useable plates/cutlery. The flat is also near a small but lovely park. I slept really well (which is what I needed as I was in Newport for a race).
− The communication with the Hosts is a little awkward. I hadn't noticed it had a later check in and earlier check out time compared to other places when I booked. I had queried about having a later check out time, ahead of my arrival. Which they agreed to if I paid more. But no payment was taken and while actually staying there, the emails still said I had to leave at 10 am. Bring your own loo paper! UK flats seem to leave a very minimal amount (this is not the only UK place that has done this)
