Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und hübsch eingerichtet und verfügt über eine Klimaanlage, was sehr praktisch ist bei heissen Temperaturen. Zu der Wohnung gehört ein privater Parkplatz direkt im Innenhof. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr nett empfangen. Der Checkout war unproblematisch. Wir sollten einfach nur den Schlüssel liegen lassen und die Tür zuziehen. Die Wohnung befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße, was uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Ein paar Gehminuten von der Unterkunft entfernt ist ein riesiger Supermarkt. Zur Promenade sind es ca. 20Min. zu Fuss. Größtenteils führt der Weg durch einen schönen Park, deshalb ist das gar kein Problem. Der Strand dort ist aber privat und kostet ca. 35 bis 40 EUR pro Tag. Im Preis inbegriffen ist ein Schirm und drei Sitzmöglichkeiten. Es gibt aber auch einen öffentlichen Strand 15 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Man findet in der Toscana relativ gut kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten.

− Die Kücheneinrichtung ist etwas dürftig. In den Küchenschränken müsste mal durchgewischt werden. Im Schlafzimmer sind die Schubladen teilweise locker.

Mia moglie ha scelto questa struttura per prepararsi per il matrimonio. È rimasta contentissima. Pulita ben arredata e i proprietari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. E la ragazza le ha fatto vedere l'appartamento gentilissima. Li ringraziamo molto.

Comfortable and clean apartment in a lovely seaside resort.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had private off-road car parking. It is well situated for the railway station, just a 10 minute walk away. We didn't walk to the sea front but it would probably take about 15 minutes. We always drove to the sea front as there is plenty of parking there with parking meters. There is a large supermarket very close to the apartment - about a 2 minute walk. The WiFi in the apartment was good. The TV had many channels but all were Italian so if you are not an Italian speaker and like watching TV you would be advised to take your own portable device with access to streaming services.

− The apartment is situated on a busy road so was a little noisy though we soon got used to it. The kitchen facilities, though good, would benefit with the addition of a microwave and a toaster. Communication with the host could have been improved a little. A query I made on WhatsApp about TV channels was left unanswered even though I composed the message in Italian, though perhaps there was some level of misunderstanding involved. A visitor to the resort of Viareggio should be aware that access to the sea is almost completely via privately owned "Bagnos" which charge a fee for the use of their beach and facilities. We did however find a lovely free beach just the south of the resort which is accessed via a dead-end road with a pay car park at the end. You then take a short walk through a wooded area followed by a boardwalk onto the beach.
