Decent amenities let down by a strong mold smell, and a confusing payment process.

The property had convenient car parking and comfortably beds. Each room was equipped with oil heaters for the cold winter nights, which was appreciated. With three bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, there was plenty of space for our group. The playroom featured a ping pong table, board games, and darts—though the dartboard was amusingly positioned above the sofa, requiring some creative stances to play.

− The mold smell was overwhelming, particularly on the first floor. Fortunately, the bedroom was unaffected, and the playroom was tolerable. The second floor felt structurally unsound—the floorboards were extremely squeaky, and every footstep echoed throughout all the rooms. Mid-stay, the HVAC system broke down, leaving us reliant on the oil heaters to keep warm at night. The sauna, while technically present, was inaccessible due to clutter blocking the entrance. Communication was disorganized: instructions for recycling, rubbish disposal, and towel procedures were scattered and incomplete. Most concerning was the payment process. Booking.com listed a €150 deposit, yet we were charged €250. On top of that, after paying through Booking, we were required to make an additional €100 payment via the host's separate website. The whole process felt unprofessional and raised security concerns—at times, it genuinely seemed like a scam.
