We enjoyed our stay, but the only time we were warm was in bed covered by the duvets of two beds.
7.0The location in the village was very good close to a shop and a cafe. Cottage was nicely furnished, but the very small kitchen meant that the microwave, pots & pans and crockery were in 2 other rooms, through 3 sets of doors. Not very convenient.
− The cottage was very cold when we arrived and with stone floor, stone walls and single glazed windows it never really warmed up. Some days we had to leave the heating on all day just to be vaguely warm with double layer of blankets sitting on the settee in the evening. There was a log burner but only enough logs for 1 or 2 days and nowhere in the area to buy more.
