Great self contained space for a short stay

10.0

The room is a great space and convenient for a visit to friends in the village of Milland. There were lots of lovely touches on arrival and Kim goes above and beyond to make your stay special. Great pub over the road. The Rising Sun

Everything was great

A delightful apartment with many thoughtful extras

9.0

The Nest is a very cute apartment over a garage. It is beautifully laid out with everything you could heed for a weekend plus lots of lovely extra touches. There was milk, a selection of teas and coffees, breakfast pastries and snacks laid out, plus a choice of alcoholic beverages. There was a whole basket of lovely toiletries to sample and so much attention to detail - even some toothbrushes if you forgot to bring one! The bed was so comfortable, there was plenty of hot water and a radiator to take the chill off in the morning. There is a kettle, a toaster, a microwave and a tiny fridge, so we could make breakfast easily. It was rather wet and windy when we were there so we didn’t spend that much time in the village, but there is a little community shop and cafe that were cute. The nearby pub was good - very busy and recommend booking a table not in the bar as it was very noisy. Limited vegetarian options though. Kim has gone to a lot of trouble to make this comfy and welcoming and we had a lovely stay.

The WiFi was not working when we were there. The phone signal was very weak, but no internet meant even the tv didn’t work. This meant that we couldn’t catch up on the rugby or Goodwood, which meant that the pub did very good business from us. Kim and her husband tried to make it work but it didn’t happen. There was so much positive about the place I can’t mark it down because of this - and because Kim was so thoughtful! - but I did feel I should mention it. We are not an exceptionally tall couple, but the ceilings are sloped so do mind your heads.

staying here really was the cherry on top to an already exciting weekend

10.0

we stayed here for two nights whilst attending an event at goodwood and we absolutely loved it. i had got in contact with the owners prior to arrival to let them know our check in time and received the warmest of welcomes. the location was perfect for us, accompanied by a top tier pub just around the corner. the property was exceptionally clean and tidy, not too mention well stocked with some fun delightful snacks and cold drinks in the fridge. this really was the perfect stay for us this weekend and it will be our first choice when visiting again.

Lots of nice little touches. Extremely clean and well maintained. Perfect for a one or two night stay. Parking on site and great pub over road. Nice quiet location.

Nothing.

Another fantastic stay.

I was fortunate that a cancellation meant I could change my accommodation to staying here for a second time. This time I was staying for Goodwood Revival for the 3 days. I love everything about the interior design, attention to detail and thoughtfulness. On arrival I found that a cooling devise had been added as the weather was so hot and a copy of classic car weekly (newspaper) that had information on the event I was here for. I still stand by my previous review and the fact I cancelled accommodation to revisit I hope speaks volumes.

100% satisfied, everything I could have wanted and more. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved the interior design and attention to detail. The bed was really comfy so I slept well and the shower was great. There literally wasn't anything more I could have wanted and much more provided that I didn't expect. I stayed here to attend Goodwood FOS, it was a great location being so nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to bring a classic car etc here, as there is good parking. I went to the pub nearby and the food was fantastic and really convenient as I could walk there, so could have a drink with my meal. Kim and her husband were very kind and thoughtful, letting me know there was a cancelation of one of the days at the event I was attending, which I thought was really nice.
