Wonderful quaint cottage in the heart of the peaks
10.0The location is perfect for wandering around Castleton and visiting the peak district. The cottage is so quaint, each room is beautiful and the decor is wonderful. The hosts are very communicative and give a lot of information. They were also very understanding when we had travel issues. There is off-street parking for 3 cars (jack and jill parking) which is useful in the busy season given its location.
A perfect place for a luxurious stay in the Peak District with friends
8.0We loved Lodge Cottage! The house has been tastefully modernised, retaining the charm of the original building. Location is right in the centre of Castleton, with private parking a huge bonus. Beds, bed linen, towels were all immaculate.
− I’m struggling to find anything negative. An additional bin in the kitchen for recycling would have been welcome.

10.0The cottage is 10/10. Each room is beautiful, there are so many unique features, the location is brilliant, the town has great hospitality, and the host was great. We will definitely return
− The only very minor thing is the lack of garden space. But this really does not matter given the location. There is is also a small courtyard

9.0Beds pillows and linen= good sleep. Perfect for our family of 8 grow ups. Well equipped and ideal location. Generous with logs for fires. Beautiful interior design
