8.0The purpose of our visit was part 2 of my 80th birthday celebrations. Part 1 was here in Suffolk; and I have friends in Somerset and Cornwall, hence booking the Byre. It worked perfectly for us, beautiful location, the friend who drove me all that way took advantage of the hot tub. I couldn't... I might have got in but getting out might have been a stretch! The TV was just fabulous for watching Wimbledon - what a year.

7.0We loved the location. Very quiet and picturesque. The hot tub was amazing.
− The bins had not been emptied out side, which in turn meant there were a lot of flies around. There were lots of flies inside the property which we very annoying. Although there were citronella candles on the table as no one in our party smokes we could not light them as we had no lighter or matches. If we had needed to light the fire we could not have done either. The rest of the property was well stocked but could have done with some smaller Pyrex bowls to put things such as salad into.
Lovely Cottage in the English countryside
10.0The location was perfect for what we required. The cottage was cozy and clean. The Host provided clear instructions for arrival, helpful how-to's for the appliances (American learning British ways). Everything worked and it made our stay very pleasant. It was lovely to have somewhere to call "Home" while we were in the area. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a remote option with no fuss.
