Nature paradise
9.0Words cannot describe the atmosphere, the love and care - the magic! - of this beautiful place. We loved the communications before and after we got there, the friendliness of Raffa the boat captain, the warm greeting we received from Reymar as we embarked upon the beach, and many many more things, but what surprised and impressed us the most was the most bountiful and delicious array of food supplied three times a day - all farm-to-table. Fresh fish caught in the gulf that day, fruits and vegetables grown on the land, eggs from the chickens, fresh coconut milk and last but not least the 'shots' - four or five shots of home grown, home made juices provided each morning - packed full of vitamins and minerals. Lots of trips available and wonderful rainforest jungle to the back. We saw dolphins swimming right near the beach one morning. I could rave on .... So grateful we came.
− There was nothing we didn't like but you have to be prepared for rustic. There was a mosquito net over our bed but otherwise the living accommodation is open plan as it is in many places in Costa Rica. We had a bat roosting in our bedroom and a spider or two, and always in the jungle you have to keep an eye out for snakes. But if you love nature, these are blessings, not problems. The toilet was a little way away from our bungalow but we didn't mind. The plunge pool needed a lick of paint - I think they were planning to drain it and paint it - but it was a welcome way to cool down every day.

Invigorating and immersive stay amongst the biodiversity of the Golfo Dulce!
10.0Incredible location, and great combination of both forest and marine in one place. Beautiful tropical gardens on the property complete with macaws and monkeys, and great guided excursions into rainforest, mangrove, and marine habitats. You are staying in a jungle so be prepared re: bugs, temperature and humidity. As a solo traveller it was super welcoming and friendly, and you feel at home quite quickly. As well as the activities it was also great just to chill out around the gardens or by the beach, or to just take a kayak and explore. The food was also amazing and a highlight for me, lots of fruit and veg grown on site, fresh fish if it was caught that day etc.
Exceptionnal, a must visit in Costa Rica
10.0Food was super delicious. Staff and owner are super friendly. There is nice trails going in the jungle
− The beach is rocky
We traveled half way around the world to find Dolphin Quest and were so happy we did. It was completely awesome!
10.0This is one of the most stunningly beautiful locations I have ever visited. Staff and food were magnificent! We were in the heart of some of the world’s most exciting wildlife. We felt safe all the time. We were supported to dial up or down our sense of adventure to the level we wanted. Pure paradise!
− There were zero problems. They even had scarlet macaws and falcons perched around the home made football pitch.
We found a second family in this slice of paradise.
10.0the raw beauty of the place is immediately captivating but it’s the warmth, ingenuity and creativity of the extended family operators which makes the place “one-in-a-million.” We fell in love with all of the adventure activities and the pristine jungle clime.
